Communications Specialist Assistant

Job Purpose:
Assists the Communication Specialist to build and maintain positive relationships with partners, sponsors, clients and public.

Key Responsibilities:

Assists in desktop research on markets, technologies, industry trends and companies that might ultimately affect the firm
Assists in generating ideas for promotions programs based on the company audience’s needs
Assists in assuring that the company and its mission, products and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant organizations and the public
Assists in Format, edit and proofread editorial content provided by the copyeditor and or Communication Specialist such as brochures, reports, manuscripts, interviews, etc.
Drafts documents in both English and Arabic.
Translation of materials as needed (Arabic/English)
Helps to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with community, government, industry, consumer, partners and with representatives from print and broadcast journalism.
Assists in ensuring adequate communication of sabrycorp activities and mission to all media
Contacts people in the media who might print or broadcast our material.
Helps in handling advertising or sales promotion work to support marketing efforts.
Assists in identifying high quality leads for sponsors, potential partners and clients
Provides assistance with media relations and public awareness
Assists in developing effective collaborative relationships with local and international media
Follows up on all Communication related matters
Maintains files ensuring an updated library of media, photos, and related programmatic materials.
Logs, fields, and tracks contacts appropriately.

Abilities:
Ability to work independently and proactively
Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic
Ability to communicate thoughts clearly and simply
Outgoing personality, self-confidence
Competitive yet able to function as part of a team and open to new ideas
Hardworking, must show initiative and have genuine interest in media and business relations
Strong analytical, organization skills and enquiring mind
Ability to think quickly, effectively to solve problems, handle multiple projects, determine priorities, and meet deadline pressure.
